When La Casa Ristorante first opened its doors on March 10, 1994, proprietor Syl Basacco had already done his homework by studying and copying many of our Mom's recipes from back home in Ceprano, Italy. In fact it used to be quite the treat when La Casa featured our Mom's home-made lasagna as the daily special. Some of these recipes are still on our menu today, along with many other delicious dishes our talented chefs have created over the years. I was in for dinner with friends before the Gwen...

I was in for dinner with friends before the Gwen Stefani concert, and when we arrived the dining room was quite full, we didn't have reservations but the gentleman at the door was able to find us a nice table right away. The serving staff was absolutley fantastic ! our waiter Travis (who it turns out was also the getleman at the door) was exceptional and extremely upbeat considering the management had clearly under staffed for the evening. We will definatley be back! Thank you Travis and La Casa for starting our night out on the right track!

i had an amazing experience at La Casa. The food was top notch and was accompanied by excellent service from our server Travis. It was great to see that even though the restaurant was almost full, we were still able to enjoy appetizers and main courses, and be back to work on time. We will definitly be back.

Appetizers were pretty good. Calamari was somewhat bland but decent texture. Smoked salmon appetizer was average. Beef tenderloin entree (both had it) was huge. I don't mind big portions, but this plate was so big that presentation was lacking. There was way too much sauce and around 10 asparagus.....more than needed. The steak was huge (I like that) but the cut of beef was average at best. Lyeth Merlot was great. Service was very good. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and not intrusive. Will not rush back. Not a bad experience, but not on par with other restaurants in the city.

We decided to go here for a celebration. The wine was absolutely amazing. The main dish portions were quite large, however we did observe that the appetizer cost were on the high end for the quality and portion size. Dessert was great! Pasta was delicious for those who love a heavy, rich meal.
