When La Casa Ristorante first opened its doors on March 10, 1994, proprietor Syl Basacco had already done his homework by studying and copying many of our Mom's recipes from back home in Ceprano, Italy. In fact it used to be quite the treat when La Casa featured our Mom's home-made lasagna as the daily special. Some of these recipes are still on our menu today, along with many other delicious dishes our talented chefs have created over the years. This was the night of the Michael Buble concert...

This was the night of the Michael Buble concert and the restaurant was packed, I went at 9:00pm and decided to sit at the bar. Service was great and the Calamari appetizer was excellent,this is my favourite Calamari dish! I tried the Rissotto dish from the new menu and it was excellent - a nice blend of flavours and a nice light sauce, I would highly recommend this dish!! As always an excellent dining experience at La Casa!!

We went to La Casa prior to the concert on Monday...

We went to La Casa prior to the concert on Monday night and the restaurant was packed! Despite being extremely busy we were promptly served and the food and service was wonderful as always! We will be definately going back as this is our favourite restaurant in the city!!

too peppery... the food is not at the level it...

too peppery... the food is not at the level it should be too be charging those prices... the service staff is just not good. and it is as simple as that. they have probably never worked anywhere else. they have no personality been there a few times and everytime they let us down. they need to learn how to interact. fine dining does not imply being a cold person. just not a good restaruant. the atmospher is nice but the glass on the tables is tacky.

server was an older man.... not a pleasant...

server was an older man.... not a pleasant personality...was even rude to someone who came into the door who ended up leaving because of this. we witnesses him having a temper spurt on one of the other waiters. the salmon was overcooked, and the tiramisu was melting to the point they presented it in a bowl. would not go back, the service was not at the standard i expected it would be, and the food was below average for the prices charged
