Watch out for the extra tax. Refuse to pay it. Other reviews have described the serving style of this restaurant and I think it's fun to try at least once. The meat feast was endless and we had no worry about waiting for the next serving. We enjoyed ourselves very much until we got the bill. My only complaints are that - the meats tends to be a little salty and the desert selection was limited. - The buffet food was only OK but we were there for the meats anyway (so go light on the buffet and save room for the meatfest). - Watch out for the extra tax. It's a rip-off. I probably won't go back for this reason and gave the "worst service ever" rating. The personal service was great otherwise. They make it clear that the seating time is limited (they have reservations for 6 and 8 PM) so don't be late if you go for 6 PM.
We were a group of about 100 and had the restaurant to ourselves. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the food, entertainment and service was perfect. 3 of the guests were vegitarian and they described their meal as "ok" but for the meat eaters, everyone was pleased.
While Copacabana may be a carnivore‘s dream it certainly falls short for the vegetarian in your party. The Copacabana website claims “We also feature an exciting a la carte menu and many vegetarian options.” However, no such menu exists and were told the regular $40.00 buffet fee would apply. (Eventually reduced by the manager to $25.00). Contradictory to the website, we found the salad bar to be less than enormous, failed to locate the exotic fruit and were disappointed by the corn muffin and chunk of fried banana as “dessert”.
Our parents-in-law came for a visit from Ecuador, South America. We wanted to treat them to a fabulous dinner and a show. We made reservations for 10pm at the Copa Cabana Brazilian Steakhouse. On their website, the restaurant advertises a show consisting of Brazilian-style dancers. We asked when the next show was and were told at 10:30pm. So we thought, great, we will eat at 10pm and see the show at 10:30pm. We live in Richmond Hill, Ontario. We arrived in Niaraga Falls at 9pm, hoping the restaurant could accommodate us earlier. When we arrived at the restaurant, the unfriendly hostess flat-out rejected our request and stated our table would not be ready until 10pm. Fair enough, we went to walk around until 10pm. When we returned to the restaurant at 10pm, our table was not ready! We waited around like idiots for another 20 minutes with our elderly in laws in tow. The hostess made absolutely no intent on accommodating us in any way; in fact, she made us feel like we were inconveniencing her for standing around waiting! We had not had dinner so we were famished. Plus, we were tired from the 1.45 minute drive and the 1 hour walk around the area. We were not happy campers and so we asked to see the manager. When she came to see us, she was just as unfriendly and as unaccommodating as the hostess!! She did not even offer us a seat while we waited! Finally, at 10:30pm, just in time to see the show, they sat us down at our table. To our grave disappointment, there was no show! We went to complain to the manager because we had been misinformed. She apologized but did nothing to remedy the situation. Even though the dancers were still in the restaurant, she failed to ask them to dance for us considering the fact that we had in-laws that were from out of the country. As a group of 14 adults, we spent close to $1,000.00 that night and I think we deserved better service. I will never return to this restaurant again.
We had a group of 30 & wanted an end of year dinner reservation to remember. Copacabana filled the ticket. The house was packed but we still had 2 staff greet & seat us promptly at our reserved tables. Our assigned hostess was attentive, kept our glasses filled, definitely well trained in food service. Super atmosphere for a group dining experience, excellent & frequent service of almost all the meats offered (we didn't get any chicken, not the end of the world), and a decent salad bar. Not sure if there was desert available - nobody seemed to care anyway considering the the amount of food to choose from. Wine list is acceptable, with reasonable variety. Chilean wine was a good dinner match. Including soft drinks in the fixed price per head would be a great perk. Our reservation was handled by email & fax so there was no confussion, and numerous calls to update the staff about our final number, wine selection - all went smooth. The 2 hour table limit on weekends was a concern when reserving, but 2 hours is plenty. Some went to the bar, and others went to casino or other parties after. Niagara Falls is a good tourist destination that many Niagara locals avoid. If you want a unique experience Copacabana should be on your list. While it is not necessarily fine dining, it is definitely a great dining experience.

Samba, samba, samba and enjoy all the meat you can eat at this authentic Brazilian Rodizio with locations uptown and downtown. The lively dining room offers a full pasta and salad bar while roaming servers (or “gauchos”) visit tableside to carve over 20 unique cuts of perfectly seasoned grilled meats (the picanha is a house specialty) onto your plate. On Friday and Saturday nights, experience the flavours of Carnival as the restaurant hosts live performances from costumed Samba dancers and acrobatic Capoeira martial artists.
