I can be confident that the owner really loves animals and will care for my dogs like her own. She does their grooming as well and always lets me know if something is wrong (like a sore I hadn't noticed). Big plus is the dogs are walked twice a day which some kennels don't do. Read more

We were so impressed with Better Than Home ...it's just about Better Than Home! We love that our two large breed ladies have so much space for excercise and socializing. Gord the owner clearly loves dogs (he has 5 of his own!) and knows how to handle them as alpha. The facilities are new and very clean - the owner's vision is apparent at this perfect locale. My dogs are allowed on my couch and I REALLY loved to see the TV room at Better Than Home where they can cuddle on the couch with Gord or stretch out at his feet and chew a bone. We dropped our pups off while we had a much needed vacation. I’m not a fan of travel, so my dogs have never been kennelled. I was quite nervous to leave them at first, as I wasn’t sure how the dogs would do, but the staff posted pictures that we looked for every day which really helped. The kennels were large and clean, which were great as I have giant breeds. When I picked my dogs up, they were happy, freshly washed, and looked really good. Thank you so much! Read more
