Took the parents out for dinner along with aunt and uncle. A very quaint place to eat, the seating is a little cramped, but the food is great. The Sezchewan noodles were extremely spicey and tasty just the way we like them. The beef and greens was hearty with plenty of brocolli, cauliflower, onions and nappa as well as some red and green peppers and a good helping of beef, the chop suey was done well not under cooked and the fried rice is excellent. The chicken balls were good also not so much batter, there was plenty of chicken inside unlike other places I have been to. We all left feeling very full and content. The staff was courteous always checking up to see if things were alright. Great place to go for a drink and have a change of pace in restaurant cuisine.

Traveling from the U.S.A., I recently had the pleasure of dining at iL Forno in Woodbridge, ON, Canada, and it has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants. During my visits, I tried the Mediterranean pizza, chicken fricassee, grilled rib eye, and salmon fillet. Haven't been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have redecorated. Replaced a number of tables with booths and that makes it much nicer inside. Food is great. Lots of variety. Excellent prices. The one thing about this place that annoys me is that they never bring your bill to the table -- I always have to go to the cash to find out how much the bill is and pay. Not a biggie but still annoying.

The Shanghai Kitchen Restaurant in Whitby is now under new management and quality seems to be their number one priority. The food is very fresh and tasty. The restaurant is more a takeaway/delivery place but the prices and staff are awesome. I would recommend giving the Shanghai Kitchen a try.
Everything was wonderful and look forward to more awesome meals from this location.

I have visited many Chinese style restaurants in Oshawa and Whitby and I have to say that I was not expecting this degree of quality and freshness from a fast food place. I would have never ordered from here because I always like to take a look at the menu before I get delivery (which I could not find online) but because of location I decided to give it a try, I mean it's only $30-40 after taxes for their specials so no big deal. When I got my first delivery I was shocked of how much food their was and how tasty it was. Not too greasy, spiced and prepped perfectly, warm, timely, and friendly service. For the price, and for how good the food is, I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about, it's most likely the competition.
