The food is amazing! I have eaten at many Indain Restaurants and the Tara is by far the best. The Butter Chicken is sweet. We loved the coconut and raisons in it. We will recommend this restaurant to all our friend!!

My wife and I have eaten at Tara many times. The service is excellent - very friendly. The food is ABSOLUTELY INCERDIBLE - there are NO Indian Restaurants to rival Tara ANYWHERE in Southern Ontario. Indian food is a passion of mine, and Tara delivers the absolute best.

This place has delicious food. I've been to several indian restaurants throughout the GTA (we just moved to Barrie from Toronto) but Tara is the best I've tried. I can't comment on service within the restaurant because we had it delivered but service over the phone was friendly and helpful. They are NOT speedy but good food is worth the wait. Overall it was an excellent experience and we can't wait to try it again. Yummy.

This is the only place in Barrie for Indian...

This is the only place in Barrie for Indian. We've been coming for years, you don't always get a seat, and sometimes a reservation doesn't mean anything. That being said, it is all worth it when you dig into the food. Everything on the menu is incredible. I can't say enough good things about this place. Sometimes the service isn't the quickest, but you're there for the ambience, the wonderful smells, and the food that makes your tastebuds go crazy.
