Getting There
Attention, Nous Déménageons Le Premier Avril 2016,
What is it like to be surrounded by chests and shelves overflowing with treasures every day? You will surely find out at Les Ateliers Mademoiselle Julie, an inspiring place for people with all kinds of sewing related projects.
“It came into existence very fast,” says owner Julie Tremblay, who was searching for tranquillity in the countryside, when she stumbled upon an opportunity to transform her life in the city. She discovered a business for sale, the Boutique Bilal owned by Samir Elzein, people had been going to for sewing supplies for 28 years. By September 2014, she had made it her own. Les Ateliers Mademoiselle Julie came to be a sewing supplies and accessories shop that is infused by her passion for millinery, or hat making.
“Life is full of chance and synchronicity and I embrace it,” Julie says.
Les Ateliers Mademoiselle Julie is located in the heart of the sewing and fabric district of Saint-Hubert Street, a few blocks north of Jean Talon.
