The western Montreal borough of Nôtre-Dame-de-Grâce, known best to Montrealers as simply N.D.G., might not be known as a hopping area of the city. However, Cafe 92º is one of the neighbourhood's thriving businesses even if it's not very centrally located. According to co-owner/co-founder Maria Grajales, who opened the cafe alongside Claudia Vega and Reda Wahba, this works to their advantage.
“This area is very good because we have a lot of people that have been living here for a long time, near the coffee shop, and the fact that they’ve been here for a while and also the dog park across the street, there’s a big sense of community,” she says. “We have clients that have been coming here ever since we opened, ever since the first day. I see others that come back after a while; they move away and then they come back a couple years after and then they’re our clients again.”
So much fun, great cuisine, but the ambience, that is wonderful, and surely with great events welcoming such stars as the great Eleuthra, we are truly blessed. come along, always welcome, and soooo refreshing, too-cya at Eleuthra's gig, 7th November? a treat for all!
