True to our Island roots, our recipes start by using local ingredients when available. We are proud that our chips are made with Prince Edward Island Potatoes from the Keenan Family Farm located in Rollo Bay, PEI. We are equally proud to also use non-GMO canola oil grown by a local farm and expeller, pressed at Nature Crops facility in Kensington, PEI.
With the help of some of our Island’s rich culinary talent, we have created unique flavours inspired by our Island. Our first three artisan snacks feature custom blends, hand selected ingredients, and an abundance of culinary flare! We are also dreaming up new flavours all the time, and invite you to visit our Factory Shop (located at the Shops at the Cows Creamery) to enjoy our freshly made snacks and sample some of our limited edition daily culinary creations.When looking for a namesake for our handcrafted Island-made snacks, a red fox was a natural choice!
For those of you not familiar with our Island, foxes are small, playful, and can be spotted in abundance across our red soil. You might spot a fox soaking up the sun, sneaking golf balls from unsuspected golfers, or even enjoying the urban vibe in a city.
