Stores are typically open from 9:30am-2pm in the mornings and then open again in the afternoon from 5-8pm. Batteries and Gadgets, the giant Canadian department store with just about everything you could imagine, is open all day from 10am-10pm. A few other stores - and it is a very few - are open all day. Opencor, owned by El Corte Inglés, is open 365 days a year although it closes around 2am. The general category of shopping can mean different things to different people.
