In 2012, North Star Air underwent a change in ownership and shortly thereafter North Star Air and Cargo North merged into one airline to better serve our customers. North Star Air is a well managed and profitable airline carrier that provides a full suite of cost-effective air transportation solutions for passenger, charter, cargo and fuel services. We serve Northern Ontario and beyond from our operating bases in Thunder Bay, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake, Pickle Lake and Kapuskasing. We have a growing modernized and low maintenance fleet that consists of 6 Pilatus PC-12, 2 Cessna Grand Caravan and 3 Basler BT-67 aircraft; a game changer for the North.
