Chloe is a Registered Acupuncturist in good standing with the CTCMPAO, fluent in both French and English and passionate about Chinese Medicine, Fitness and Wellness. She is currently studying Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Acupuncture and Integrated Medicine Academy in Toronto and is working towards writing her regulatory exams in this area as well.
Chloe's background in Personal Training has led her to believe that fitness plays a big part in her client's wellness and aftercare. She has studied the art of medical Qi Gong and Tai Chi, a practice that is gentle and achievable for people of any age and ability.
Acupuncture
An ancient medicine that works with Qi energy and yin/yang balance in the body treating both the symptoms and the root cause of a patient's illness. Single-use needles are applied on acupuncture points where nerves innervate, usually on muscles, the scalp, ears and the fascia. Electroacupuncture is also available.Gua Sha
A scraping or rubbing of the skin with jade stones used to improve circulation and release toxins.
Tui Na
A chinese medical massage using stimulation and tactical manipulation of acupuncture points with the goal of correcting the flow of energy to promote healing and to enhance resistance to disease.
Moxibustion
Consists of burning dried mugwort on particular points in the body. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.
Cupping
A therapy in which heated glass cups or plastic cups are applied to the skin along the meridians of the body, creating suction as a way of stimulating the flow of energy. Commonly used for musculosqueletal pain, common colds, lymphatic draining, headaches, etc.
