I like fresh food and if I buy food someone else cooks I want it to be better than I can make at home. Toma La definitely has that and more. And the new location at Trinity Church is nice for a sit down dinner too.
I used to enjoy the food here. Was a repeat customer until now. When I go home opened my meal my chicken was terribly small, more like a Cornish hen lol. Also my potato were burnt. If you burn food throw it out make fresh.
We tried this restaurant end of Aug 2012, we called to place an order but the person who answered did not seem to know the menu or pricing. Went to pick up our order which was chicken and potatos for a family of four. Chicken was good, sauce was excellent but the potatos were not fresh, they were either from earlier that day at lunch or evening before. This was a Wednesday evening so not sure if this place does not have a good turn over during the week but it was a little gross to get potatos that were not freshly cooked and it made us wonder about their food. The Piri Piri sauce though is perfect, would go back for the chicken and sauce but not sure I would try any other items unless they could prove it was cooked fresh and had not been sitting for the day or leftover from the evening prior.
