Terrible school that needs a major upgrade. First off, its a very poor location and cramped atmosphere. The education is below standard as this school is mostly focused on making cash from the salon services. Education is not even a priority with this place. Go elsewhere and do your homework.
The worst school in Brampton. Everyone I talk to tell to avoid National Institute like a plague due to their history and reputation of the current owners. From people that recently finished they all say they never got proper education, especially in theory because because students were being pulled from class to work on clients majority of the time, those former students now have to pay extra for remedial help to get an understanding of theory just to write their license exam. Not recommended.
This school is just a salon and spa cash business. The education is not even up to standard and hardly there with lazy teachers. Location is very small and outdated location. I would not recommend this place at all.
i was student here in 2009 and i had great experience but now when i try to get documents and other information the new owners are very rude and school is very bad and going down..they don't know how to treat past student..it is very different now and i would not recommend to people..it is way more dirty and service was not good.
You will not learn anything here, this school enroll students anytime with no organization or semesters so every student are in different levels with no proper curriculum. Students aren't even learning the foundation of hairstyling because the owners enroll the students half way so was just a big waste. Students end up failing but some reason they still get their diploma, however if you need a license then you have to pay extra for a tutor because you won't learn anything. Big waste of time.
