We took our dog in for a c-section to deliver unborn pups who had already delivered 3 puppies. When I said I was coming in to pick up the mom and pups I received a phone call while driving that one pup is dead. When I picked them up I discovered another pup dead on the way home. How can this happen when you have left your pups in the care of veterinarians? Im still in shock. I have emailed a formal complaint and will never trust a vet again until we are allowed to accompany our pets.

We took our dog here after he got into some mouse poison when we first moved into our new cottage. Once we brought him there they did a full check on him and the mouse poison, determined that the specific type wasn't as harmful to dogs as to rodents. He turned out to be fine. But these veterinarians were the most friendly and caring I have dealt with and treated our little guy with so much love. We felt very comfortable with him in their hands.

Was just there on the weekend when my dog ate some chocolate wrapped under the tree, wrappers and all. They gave me a few choices of things to do - including just monitoring him - but I decided to go ahead with making him vomit to be safe. Doctor and staff were very supportive - would go again in another emergency.

Thank you for being there when we needed you the most. Our very stressful drive to your hospital with our beloved dog while he seized to the point his eyes were bloodshot and blood dripped from his nose. We have two small children with us. When we arrive your vet and nursing staff were great, quick and even took the children and calmed them. I can not thank you all enough. Great service, professional and kind.thanks for working late nights, our 3am visit was sad but you made the difference...

I have a diabetic dog who has been very difficult to regulate. My husband and I have had to take Sam to the HVEC on regularly. They are always helpful, kind, even sending me pics of him settled in to his bed. They take the extra time to always review is file and have sat down with my husband to explain how this disease works and what they have been doing to try and get him on the mends. The staff are friendly, loving and care about Sam. He actually likes going there. Thank you to the staff

    Glad they were there!

I am so thankful that this clinic was open last weekend! My dog had a porcupine encounter and had so many quills he needed sedation to have them removed. His face was completely covered and he couldn't even open his eyes. The vet was great, and they were able to help him right away. I checked with my regular vet after and other than their emergency exam fee, the price was actually less than my regular vet would have charged. Great staff, and would definitely recommend.

    Warning !! I too...

Warning !! I took my mastiff puppy here; it was the worst decision I ever made for my dog! I told the vet I thought my pup had sprained her shoulder but was showing signs of a lung puncture or something. After the Vet looked her over she told me her lungs were fine. But then told me she thinks the dog may have a fracture which I knew wasn't the case!! The vet then tried to push $500 dollar X-rays which is an insane pice compared to Any local Vet.. (Almost double of normal cost) when I refused to do the X-ray she then threatened to call the OSPCA .(which they Did) In the End I took her to my vet and it was Panosteitis (growing pains) a common problem in mastiff pups my Vet said they should have diagnosed this right away instead of X-Rays. THIS VET DID NOT CARE ABOUT MY DOG THE ONLY CARED ABOUT HOW I WAS GOING TO PAY!!
