Our stacking washing machine required service for the first time in 10 - 11 years. We prepared ourselves for having to replace it knowing the reputation for the life of an appliance these days. The response from Gord's Appliance was helpful and timely so far as setting up an appointment. We were surprised to find out that a paper clip had been lodged in the pump and it was fixable without parts or replacement. It was a huge relief. Thanks for taking the time to investigate! Great experience I filled out the online form on a Sunday night.They called me first thing on the Monday morning to advise what time their repair man would arrive. He arrived on schedule and diagnosed the problem, They had the repair part in stock and quickly had my refrigerator repaired.
In store staff were very helpful answering my questions and solving my problem in the most cost effective manner. The service rep was on time, efficient, thorough, and respectful of my home. I was in town for a few days and had to purchase a dishwasher. As expected for Big Box Stores, the dishwasher I wanted would have to be ordered and take 4-6 days for delivery. The last salesperson apologized and fortunately, suggested I call Gords Appliances on the North Shore, as they had a warehouse and many models in-stock. So, I called Lindsey, and the great team at Gords had what I needed, great service, picked up and installed the next morning. Primo service from a great team!
I recently purchased a Maytag dishwasher from Gord's. Norm was the salesperson. He was great to deal with - very knowledgeable and friendly. Gord's delivery team installed it quickly and professionally. The dishwasher works well and is very quiet. I definitely recommend Gord's for your appliance needs.
Everything was great,friendly staff,delivery people.Only problem was the stove arrived at their warehouse damaged,but shipping damage happens.Love our new appliances,await the new stoves arrival.
Gord's appliances came in and repaired our washer. They were fast, courteous and professional. The service tech arrived prepared to take on any common issues with the machine so I wasn't left wanting for parts or having to accommodate multiple visits to have the repair done. He also called an hour or so prior to the scheduled time to see if it was ok to come early as he was ahead of schedule. That was appreciated because it free'd up more of my day. Thanks Gord's for the amazing service.
Great product and service. My new king mattress was delivered by two respectful gentlemen who kindly moved furniture out of the way and back for me, and took away my old mattresses as an added bonus! I’ve just had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages after my first sleep - thanks Gord’s!
Gord's Maytag was able to properly wire my Specialty and expensive Gaggenau oven after a red seal electrician was unable to complete the job as the wiring is not standard to North America. Excellent service. & much appreciated. will definitely use their services in the future.
The repairman spent less than 15 mins inspecting my washer, informed me it would cost $500 to repair and gave me a bill for $83.99. When I called the store, the man who answered the phone was entirely unapologetic, informing me that this is their "service call charge". The fact that I was not informed of the fee when I called to make the appt, and the fact that no repair was performed, did not appear to bother this man in the least. Not a business I would recommend.
