We just finished eating some amazing Pickerel from Fishermans Pride... it was AMAZING! With our family being from Northern Manitoba, we know great Pickerel and this honestly tasted like it just came out of Clearwater Lake, and we had frozen it!!! Amazing Seafood, Amazing Service, Amazing staff! Shop is always clean, and everything is always great!!!

Spent $350.00 on live lobster and they tasted terrible. Had to throw them out. Called the store and told them about the lobster tasting like chemical but they didnt care. Thats a lot of money to waist. So dont shop here. They dont take care of customers.

The owner was very snarky. I asked her about a product that was normally shipped in with previous owners and while it was expensive to ship and stated how she was loosing money. She said "i like you guys but not that much". (Im originally from Newfoundland. ) The prices are rediculously high and poor customer service skills on top. I WONT BE BACK. PLUS THE FROZEN COD NUGGETS WHERE TERRIBLE.They had no taste. She also charged me a higher price from the week prior with a must nicer young woman who had way better customer service skills.

We enjoyed shopping for seafood here because the owner is a Red Seal chef, and she has lots of creative ways to cook your seafood. It is really important to get healthy food into your kids, and make the fish as tasty as possible, so they enjoy it. Keep up the great work and service. I would highly recommend Fisherman's Pride for your seafood shopping.

I love this place it unfortunate the other person had a bad review! I've done many many years if business with the old and new owners and think that they both do a fantastic job. !! The staff are friendly the product is amazing ..... They alway take the time to give my wife and I new ideas on cooking ! Fishermans Pride is always worth the stop. !!

serious decline in customer service

Never had a single issue in the 10 year I was a customer here with the previous owner Wendy but since the new ownership I will never be back again. Most recently we tried to purchase 5 lobsters (of various weights) at first the owner wasn't even going to weigh them claiming she picked them up so often she didn't need to. Finally she did, and when we went to pay we gave her our coupon for 2 x 3lb lobsters. The total should have been for the remaining 5-1/2lbs. Imagine our surprise when she tells us to pay $180.00. After discussing the coupon for two of the lobsters she then said ok, $120.00. We still argued saying 5-1/2lbs at $15.00/lb should at the most be $90.00. But she complained saying she was losing money because of the coupons for the 3lb lobsters. So - basically she was either refusing to honor the coupons or her price per pound on the lobster. The total she demanded we pay worked out to $21/lb. not he advertised price. Bad business if you ask me. They advertise 100% satisfaction guaranteed, that is certainly not accurate. They won't even honor their prices. I will never be back, it's very unfortunate because I used to love this place
