I can not believe how incompetent, rude and ignorant people who work there are! Customer service at it's worst! They would not give my son photo ID. Every time he went into the office they changed the requirements.First time it was a piece of ID, second time two pieces of ID, 3rd time 2 pieces of ID and proof of residency,4th time he need proof of residency along with a bank statement dated within 6 weeks. We took him elsewhere. No problem
Unfortunately I live in olds and have dealt with this business too many times. The last time there I got there at 4pm to write a knowledge test. Like most people I work and had to take time off to go there as they are not open Saturday's. I waited for 20 minutes to talk to some one( 3 people ahead of me 4 people behind the counter) to find out I can't write the test because it was after 4. Very bad customer service. Avoid at dealing with this place if you can and go to didsbury.
I was there yesterday to switch my plates to my new car. They wouldn't accept the bill of sale from Country Hills Toyota, they claimed it needed to be signed by the dealership. There isn't even a designated line for that signature anywhere on the bill of sale. The service has always been surly there, and the surcharges high, but since this happened I can also say they are incompetent. There is no other registry service in Olds, they are the only government approved registry service.
Thank you for raising your concern, as per Registries Policy. A legal bill of sale requires a buyer signature and a seller signature, thus your sales person from the dealership would need to sign your bill of sale, to make it a legal binding document, I believe you had the option to call the dealership and have a signed copy faxed to the office so the service could be completed.

Awesome service. Both customer service women where very pleasant. We had a few laughs. I will definitely recommend this office.
My experience in the Olds Registries today was a refreshing change, I was served with good knowledge, helpfulness, caring and helpful manner, I have not always received this kind of service at a Registries so was delighted to attend this office. Thank you to the staff.
