I came in to the store (NE Calgary store) this morning with a coupon that I printed off say’s
(8am until noon 4 hours of amazing saving!!! 30% off your entire order including sale items! Wednesday Nov 24th 2010. Cannot be combined with any other coupon, sale or discount in effect. *400400699300*)
When I came to the teller with my many items, one of the items being a book, she said that she was unable to receive the 30% off the book. I showed her the coupon, asking the casher Jeanne where on the coupon it says that it is not included on the book. She was un able to show my where so she paged the “manager” Paula which took a single look at the coupon and just said “no!” I asked her to honour the coupon that I received from Michaels. She was ever rude and said that they wont and tossed the coupon along with the receipt back on to the counter an walked away. When I made a statement about how rude they where about the whole ordeal Paula told the casher to ignore me and she walked always from the casher.
I’m upset with the fact that she wouldn’t honour the coupon, but even more so with the way this “manager Paula” handles herself and the situation.
