Brides-to-be from as far away as England have been calling on Judy Crowe and the Cake Sensations team to make their wedding day even more delicious. Judy started working with cakes and sweets in the early 1980s with her mother. “I saw how happy Mom’s sweet desserts would make people,” Judy says. “So we learned how to do cake decorating together and started doing wedding cakes. It grew from there into a career.”
After she trained at a boutique bakery in Montreal to learn the commercial side of things, Judy's business started growing through word-of-mouth. This occurred while she was also earning a nursing degree and working as a registered nurse. Once Judy had the client base to commit full-time, she made the leap.
