10 of us arrived with no reservation. They didn't have a table in the restaurant area for us but quickly put together tables in the bar for us. Service was very quick for drinks and taking orders. A bit slow for serving food but we were all visting so that was okay. Everyone loved their food except my parents who prefer simpler food. I had the thai steak salad and was surprised to find it came with a full steak on top of the salad rather than the strips I was expecting. The salad was excellent. Read more

I recently visited this (new?) location with my friends and much to my joy the service was cool and attractive and the server was attentive... In other words, very good!! The food was good to above average and well cooked! tasty Chicken, and I special ordered melting cheese. Being a fan of inventive food, I will probably return to this location just for that but would definitely take a drive here also to satisfy my appetite for eye candy. Found this on day two of our five days here and never went anywhere else. We had a variety of meals there and everything was fabulous. Met the owner, Karen, and she told us everything that can be, is real. No factory food, boil in a bag stuff here. And we eat in alot of restaurants these days. Trust me...that is a rarity. And so is being able to order bacon and eggs at 7 at night. The staff were great and made us laugh like crazy. When we go back to Campbell River for fishing, we are going to Banners.
