AMAZING FOOD. really busy on weekends so I recommend people to make reservations before. Environment and food is upscale. Affordable price for dinners and lunch. Especially lunch plate deals are dead serious. It's amazing how you can choose any choices within the plate; it contains like 30 different things. Fresh raw fish and amount of the fish on top of the special rolls are unbelievably big. I would definitely pay a little more to eat this kind of goodies rather than going to down scaled placs Read more

This little restaurant opened about a year or so ago and is now officially our favourite Japanese restaurant in the neighbourhood. The sushi is nothing short of amazing. An incredible selection of original roll creations is augmented by all of the favourites. What's best is they use wild salmon for their creations and obviously keep abreast of what is fresh at the market judging by their ever-changing special board. I had some wild hamachi sashimi there that just about made me swoon it was so amazing. The noodle soup is very flavourful as well and the only teeniest suggestion I could make would be to remove the skin from the chicken before plopping it into the soup. To top off your meal the tempura bananas and ice cream is not to be missed. The restaurant itself is what you would expect decor-wise but a neat and kitschy touch they include is customer testimonials posted all around the restaurant. The location in the heart of Main and the service also can't be beat. Truly some of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Read more

Japanese and Sushi Restaurants in Milner BC

Sushi, miso soup, rice dumplings, there is so much to consider when choosing the ideal Japanese or sushi restaurant.  Before you base your choice solely on the menu plastered outside of a sushi bar or from someone you just met off the street, here are some simple tips to guide your stomach to the best Japanese cuisine in Milner BC.

Tips on how to find Japanese and sushi restaurants in Milner BC

  • Japanese restaurant reviews: Online and newspaper Japanese restaurant reviews in the food or lifestyle section are your best tools when trying to find top sushi bars in Milner BC. Most reviews rate Japanese restaurants by atmosphere, portion size, price and service. These independent reviewers have no one to please but their finicky tastes for all things from the land of the rising sun.
  • The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in a new city, your hotel’s concierge or the hotel staff will be able to find Japanese restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or a takeout order for delivery.
  • What you’re looking for: Authentic Japanese restaurants and sushi bars serve raw seafood and rice inspired dishes. Typical dishes include rice dumplings, tofu, shellfish meals and sake. If you are looking for a particular Japanese dining experience or all you can eat sushi, call the establishment ahead of time and ask if they serve your favourite dishes.
  • Ask the neighbourhood: Most local seafood and wine vendors deal directly with the Japanese restaurants and grills in your neighbourhood. Ask them about the restaurants and bars they deal with and the kinds of meals they serve.
