We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! The staff at this location are amazing people and always quick to serve you and get you what you want. I can't say enough about this location, it's all good in every way. Always greeted with a smile. We will continue going to this Swiss Chalet because I haven't found one like it, even though they are all from the same chain, they are still different. Keep up the great work.....

I work in customer service, so I understand that things don't always go as planned. It is how an establishment deals with their mistakes that really shows how good they are , in my humble opinion.
We go to Swiss Chalet all the time, the food is always hot and delicious and up to the Swiss Chalet Standard, the service is usually pretty good, quick for sure and the restaurant smells good and is clean.
We often order take out from this location, and we have had a few problems, orders not being filled correctly, no gravy for the poutine, little things like that. One time we ordered and they called back 30 minutes later to tell us there was a snow storm and the delivery person went home!
Needless to say I complained. I got a personal response from the Manager appologizing for our bad experience and comping us for two 1/4 chicken dinners! WOW, I thought that was just great. I get that mistakes are made, but I have never had anyone take responsibility and compensate me so quickly and politely! Since then we have ordered a few times and we haven't had anymore problems.

Our server, Megan, was so great! She made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Food was great, but she made our meal. She explained all the covid procedures and was smiling and laughing behind her mask the whole time. That has gotta be tough on all the staff. So appreciated!

We LOVE Swiss Chalet! This is easily the most dependable place in town to eat. The food is always good, hot, delicious, and quickly delivered. I take quickly delivered to mean that I don't have to wait! Our servers have always been friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. I took my son to Swiss Chalet two weeks ago for a chicken dinner (1/4 with fries). Consistently good. The waitress was attentive, and knew how to keep the baby at the table next door happy (crackers, crayons, drinks... STAT!). When my wife and I went out for dinner the next week, where did my son go? We have been there a couple of times and have left happy both times.
The place was very busy as there was a Leaf game on and we were seated right away and served right away.
Remember, you are going to a sports bar and the food is good for a sports bar.
We had wings and the club house sandwich with fries and a couple of pitchers of Bud. Overall, pretty good!

Last weekend we were a party of 21 in the small function room beside the dining room. Our group was all ages from 18 - 80. Everyone ordered something different off of the menu from the sea food platter to the turkey dinner. Food was great; well prepared, hot, service was friendly. We were all very pleased. The food here was AMAZING and likely the best Middle Eastern cuisine in Toronto. And being Middle Eastern and quite critical of Middle Eastern cuisine myself, take my word for it.
The Filet Mignon and Chicken are incredibly moist and tender. MUST HAVES !!! Hummous and Baba Ganoush were just barely behind my moms!
We've held two medium size functions in this restaurant (20-30 people) including a baptism. We were initially worried about pleasing everyone (its rare that EVERYONE really enjoys the food anywhere), however, that was the case BOTH TIMES! Italians, Greeks and Arabs, ALL LOVED IT.
I recently read some so so reviews and felt it was important to share our own experiences so that others would have the opportunity to taste the food and not be deterred.
Its true the atmosphere is ok and the service may be just ok, but the food makes up for anything!!!
Try it! You will not regret it !!!

I have never been let down. 5.95 for a lunch special that is more than I can eat, although Im sure that some ppl would have little problem ingesting the mountain of food.
