The R.M. of Browning No. 34 was incorporated as a rural municipality in 1912. Records from then indicate that there were 360 resident farmers and a population of 1800 within the R.M. As of the 2011 Census, the population was 400.Regular Council meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the office located at 215 Main Street, Lampman.
