Yoga studio Shri Yoga teaches from both the physical and philosophical perspectives. This approach makes it more than a fitness craze for its disciples. “We teach a type of yoga that is alignment-based in order to balance the body, and we incorporate the spiritual aspects to balance the whole practice,” explains owner – and teacher – Mona Keddy. “That’s not always the case with other types of practice, but we wanted to make sure that dimension was represented in what we do, to help students discover their inner strengths, such as compassion and contentment.”
