The Sporting Club of Montreal is a place where one stops to have a drink or an appetizer as if one were dropping in at a best friend's place. The warm location is decorated entirely in wood, with chairs, vintage high and low tables, a beautifully lit bar and a stage for all of the music events which take place there.
Everything has been renovated in the hands of owner Donat Béland. In 2011, this bon vivant created the Sporting Club of Montreal with a partner with the goal of organizing event evenings. Initially, they organized all kinds of events, including product launches, birthday and engagement parties.
They later decided to open full time by developing a nice list of wine, beer and cocktails as well as an attractive gourmet and refined appetizer menu.
