this little place is almost like an ecosystem that is almost incomprehensible to those not a part of it. The food is very good. Yet the restaurant’s customer base, as far as i can tell, is built of the most coddled people on the block who love it for its elegance and, perhaps, simplicity. menu is simple, the scooter outside is catchy. cost is very acceptable...overall my favor in my block
Uncle Betty’s Southern-style pulled pork is tender and full with flavour. Smoked low and slow it is served on a toasted buttered bun with a scoop of their house-made coleslaw. The sandwich comes with your choice of fries, house salad, onion rings or sweet potato fries.

Uncle Betty’s Diner up at Yonge and Eglinton makes one hot dog, amid the other comfort foods, but they make it well. Topped with aioli and mushrooms, this hot dog has a fantastic taste that doesn’t overwhelm.
