I was intrigued by this place when I saw a sign that said they were "sold out". Who sells out of burgers? Apparently, Burger's Priest does! I've been to this place numerous times, and the burgers are juicy and full of flavour. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's really small, so you can't really sit down and have your burger there. The other thing I don't like is that the line ups can be extremely long. Hopefully, they can move to a bigger location soon. Definitely cannot complain about the food!
The Burger’s Priest can be given credit for the gourmet burger Renaissance in Toronto and its craziest burger can be found on the secret menu. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse sees two of “the option” veggie burgers on top of two cheeseburgers with tomato and lettuce. As for the bun – it’s the famous grilled cheese sandwich.
The Burger’s Priest now has four locations, but it was at their first - Queen near Coxwell - that they made their mark. Grinding their own meat, cooking the burgers on a flat top griddle (not on a charcoal broiler) and offering a simple menu, Burger’s Priest is about a good burger that’s tasty and consistent.
It's a high-end burger, thanks to the great quality of ingredients and care that goes into it, but without any pretentiousness. In other words, perfect.
Burger’s Priest near quiet Queen and Coxwell is like a contemporary, local A&W for the modern cheeseburger-loving family. You can order your burger smothered in chilli (the Red Sea), or top it with blue cheese and crisp bacon (the Magnum). There are many options, including vegetarian, to choose from.
