Dr sheppard is very kind and attentive. She doesn’t rush. She also keeps spaces in the day for same/next day appointments instead of needing to go to emerg or get booked out 2 weeks. Our family loves her!

Never seems to want to find the root of my health issues, just wants to prescribe meds to bandaid the issue and make you feel better. I want to know the issue and cure it, not just keep taking meds to hide the symptoms. And trying to book appointments is ridiculous. There is rarely anything available online and you cant book an appointment over the phone unless you leave a message after 5pm and they will maybe call you back the next day to come in.

Very, frustrating to book appointments, much less follow up appointments using this system! Especially when there is limited or no access to internet! A simple phone call to the doctors receptionist should still be an acceptable option. Its great that you offer online booking for patients that prefer to use current technologies, but extremely disappointing that a phone call to the office gets you no- where!! This frustration is in no way an indication of Dr. Sheppards care for her patients

Great Doctor but needs a new receptionist who is friendlier. I have been her patient for 2 years and since that time have had a few encounters with her receptionist who is very rude. Last year when I was in the waiting room another patient commented on how impolite and ill-mannered her receptionist is. I thought it was just me but obviously not.

Since being her patient it has become almost impossible to get an appointment with her, as you need to call the night before between the hours of 5:00-6:00 to leave a message for reception and you 'might' get in to see the Dr the next day. I called 3 times and left 3 messages before getting a return call, the receptionist was horrible and rude to me, and explained to me that the doctor now only works Monday, Tuesday mornings, and Wednesdays and they don't pre book appointments.

I highly recommend Dr. R. Sheppard. Pretty punctual 'n a very caring doctor! Treats you like a human, not another number! I couldn't have looked after my daughter's difficult pregnancies myself, if I even were a doctor. She's amazing lady, through 'n through! M. Giger

Wonderful doctor. Really listens to what you want for your care. Not another pill pusher.
