I have purchased central vac systems from this company several times over the years. They are always pleasant, friendly and their installer(s) is great.

Poor customer service/questionable expertise

I bought a used sewing machine from them recently. The age of the machine was grossly underestimated by the staff member. I also found out later that I could purchase the machine from individual sellers for a fraction of the cost ($20 versus $150). They would not allow me to return the machine one week later so I had to purchase a newer machine for an additional $75. The older machine was not sufficient for my purposes. They were extremely condescending (even though I was giving them more money), while I remained polite and friendly. In addition, they underestimated (again) the age of the new machine. To top off the whole experience, they sold me the wrong size of bobbin. In light of the treatment, I doubt I will be going back to return them for the right size bobbins.
