The service here is amazing. We used to live in the neighbourhood and came here often. We came back after moving away after about 6 months and they remembered who we were. I wish they would move to our new neighbourhood! The portions are great and the quality is even better.
The chicken balls were very good and not greasy at all.
Tbe sweet&sour spareribs and rice were good.
The cantonese lo mein noodle was not very good as not sure about the noodles they used.
Overall the food was very hot and delivered to my door in a short period of time.
The best part about the restaurant is that they have plenty of booths to sit it. Perfect to sit alone, or with a friend.
They have VERY reasonably priced Combo Dinners, mostly under $6, and this was what I chose to eat. Couldn't finish it since the portion was so generous.
Combo came with chicken chop suey, spare ribs, chicken fried rice, and an egg roll. I was very impressed by the nice white chunks of chicken in the rice, and vegetable pieces in the chop suey. Spare ribs were battered and covered in sweet and sour sauce. Not my liking, but some people may appreciate this. Still all very decent for the price.
I was also impressed by the cheap beer. $3.25 for a bottle of domestic. For kids, they have a very tempting selection of bubble tea, and fresh juice. There's a nice drink menu to look over at all the tables.
Over-all, the food hit the spot if you're looking classic Canadian-Chinese fast food. Don't bother if you're a health nut, or on a diet cause they do use a bit of sodium in just about everything. They were quick, polite, and it was a pleasant experience.
Next time, maybe I should try the wings....
