We were into the restaurant last night and the service was terrible. It was not busy and the waitress tried to ignore us! ( 2 hours just to get a salad and main course)
Also, I had the seafood platter and the tilapia tasted musty, it was not good.
Definitely not the experience we were expecting.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and what a disappointment. Even though there was ample room in the restaurant to sit, they put everyone in the same corner. It took forever to order and we had to ask for bread to be delivered to munch on while we waited for our meal. Bread tasted old. I had a lime margerita while waiting and it later gave me a stomach ache. The food was disappointing and pricey. I will never go back. I asked my husband how he would rate the experience at Rossinis and he said a 4 out of 10. They put grapes in the salad and on the main course plate. I thought they must have an abundance of grapes. I had stuffed sole and my husband had a pasta/seafood dish. Simply nothing to rave about. I actually had two bites of my sole, a small potato and put my fork down. It was a long wait for a big disappointment.
This place is going downhill....fast My family used to eat here when I was young and the food was great! Since then the owners have spent alot of money upgrading the restaurant (which has the most beautiful restaurant patio in Chatham). Seems like they are skimping on the quality of food.
Everytime I go back the food is worse than the time before. Chicken is always dry, pasta is always bland, chef does not know how to properly cook a steak. .
I will say that the appetizers/salads are always good, and they have a really great selection of wines, the owners are wonderful, pleasant people, but unfortunatley the main course is always atrocious, and a waste of money
Margaritas were from a powdered mix. Sauce on pasta tasted strange; only ate one quarter of it. No baked potato option.
We have been going there for over forty years; this was first disappointing meal.
In fairness, there was a small wedding reception going on at the same time and kitchen may have been understaffed.

I found this restaurant very over-priced for the food and service I received. I can go to other cheaper restaurants that are just as nice for half the price. I find this restaurant VERY OVER RATED!

Chicken was good; steak was good but had too many spices on it...kind of ruined it. Since the new owners took over from the Rossini family, the meals seem to be all about presentation rather than good value for the money. Have been a customer of Rossini's for over 40 years....and yes, I'll go back but there's alot of nice restaurants in Chatham to pick from now.

The food here is always amazing - well worth the wait. The time between courses only adds to the enjoyable dining experience. I have brought well-travelled clients here on several occassions. They were amazed by the veal - saying it was the best they had ever had anywhere! I completely agree, as it is my favourite dish as well. Rossinis is a definite must for anyone looking for a wonderful fine dining experience.
The most amazing part of Chatham-Kent. A restaurant full of history and character accompanied by an excellent serving staff and delicious food. The wait for food may be more than 5 minutes, but since when is that a bad thing. You can socialize with your table and enjoy your meal without rushing it. My suggestion for others is to sit, relax, and enjoy your time with the people you love.

Rossini's is at the top of my list for restaurants in Chatham. We have always had excellent service, the most exquisite dishes, never rushed - overall a lovely dining experience. Combine that with wonderful staff and proprietors - can't be beat. Rossini's is a 10 in my little black book!

For an exquisite dinning experience in italian eatery Rosinis is the place to go in chatham. Their entrees are excellent and the pasta is amazing, the question is can you finish your plate?

This resturant has been around for 50 years and the food and service has always been there . The menu has opened up with always some thing different on it and I might say exciting! Wine list has been increased to offer more selection and will lets say that it is an treat to hit the wine table always some new to taste on it . You must try this place .
I would say that the hostess should be dressed for the occasion and drop by and check to see that the staff is attending to our needs most time,s they are! But we saw that she was young hired girl that,s OK but the management should be there after all when your dinner bill is in the hundred+ dollar per range it woulkd be nice to be greeted and addressed by more then a student. And thats all I have to say about that !
