I've never had a bad meal in this restaurant in fact it's quite the opposite! best Vietnamese and Chinese food around hands down!

Great take out.

I have ordered lunch from here several times and its very consistent. Excellent spring rolls and sauce. (I should try something else but its so good I can't help myself)Quality ingredients. Fast service. Great price. Lots of food! Friendly people. Love it.

Cheap but authentic

Came in for a bowl. The bowl was large (as always for pho). The ingredients were not plentiful but they were cooked through and tasted fresh. No fresh basil on the side which I missed dearly - it is normally a staple at pho places. The broth was good. There are maybe 4 tables and 2 of them can only seat 2 - it is really set up better for takeout and it was pretty steadily working on takeout orders when I was there. I ate in. Service was prompt and the food came quickly. It was very well priced - I ate for under $10. It was Okay.

Very Poor Vietnamese

I'm really surprised at the reviews this place gets on a lot of sites... I sampled a beef vermicelli for lunch awhile back. Service was friendly and relatively fast for the lunch crowd (about 15 minutes) with newspapers to occupy you while waiting. There's no appreciable seating, so this is mainly take-out only. Sadly the dish itself was extremely bland with little flavour aside from what was added to the meat while on the grill. Vegetable were not terribly plentiful and the whole dish was plagued by an oily after-taste that I assume came from the equally bland fish sauce. I travel a lot and Vietnamese is a staple of my diet. This was in the bottom 10% of all the Vietnamese I've tried, which is saying a lot.. Admittedly one vermicelli dish does not a restaurant make, so I went back and gave them another shot recently.. Same dish, the beef vermicelli... Same mediocre flavor, oily after-taste, etc. Come on people, 5 stars.. top rated joint in Belleville... yikes!
