Very lacking in customer service: a mistake was made by the sales rep in registration of my vehicle which put me in a difficult and unfortunate predicament but no one (and yes I spoke to management) was willing to admit their error and did nothing to help me in any way?

I went there to get my exhaust upgraded and they broke my manifold bolt in to the manifold itself and had to be replaced. Instead of them fixning the part THEY MADE UNUSABLE they told me I had to buy a new manifold from them and pay for the extra labour cost on top of that. MacPhee Ford is not a place to go, if you know someone, or have a pref dealer go there before anything else.

I bought new a 2017 escape from MacPhee and have done all “works package” oil+68 point inspections every 8k at the dealer since new with zero issues. Now 1100km (61,100) out of warranty they want 4K to pass inspection of my 2017 escape. Apparently multiple “bushings have separated” within the last 7k kms. As I’ve said inspection reports on the suspension from 5, 13, 25, 35, 43, 53k kms all “good condition”. Ford Canada has offered to pay half in “good will”? I won’t be back
Pros: Salesmen Eric is the best salesman I have ever had, by far. Top notch, worth buying a Ford from him any day of the week. Do not hesitate asking for his service. Cons: Parts Dept are pathetic, no one calls you back, no one has answers, still stuck in 1985. The service dept. (Maintenence and such) are absoulutely terrible. My gf had bad exp, and her mom and her dad as well. They wont go back either. I will drive to New Brunswick for my next service if I have to. Ford in general really seems to have major problems in these departments.
I love my car, but despise the poor customer service, lack of communication, and below standard work. Escalating to the Customer Service Manager as recommended on the wall has also proved frustrating enough to want to cut ties with FORD.
