Sadly, customers suffer at this location. Employees do not show up to open salon, customers don't even get an apology. Too bad I am stuck for a year now. I guess I could get out of the contract, being that the staff don't open the doors.
As someone who was never a tanner ever in my life I came across lava via my daughter and she says come with me lava has a promotion for a free week of tanning so I said well ok something we could do together never in my mind did I think I would luv it so much! Not only are the beds the best I've ever been in but the staff above the rest they are so excellent to walk in the door and they are so friendly and personable the company runs flawlessly and i have had the great pleasure to get to know Dynelle who is an amazing women who brings that company to the next level of professionalism she is a smart friendly women and is able to answer any and all questions and concerns about tanning if you have them and she is always there with a smile and to chat when you talk to her you know and feel she believes whole heartedly in this company not just a paycheck!! what I like the most is lava is dedicated to educating you on tanning and provides you with the right information on lotions and times and beds they are an amazing company after I started tanning I started to investigate other tanning salons and i can report LAVA still.remains number one in the city! !! Check out LAVA you will not be disappointed!
Always a great tanning experience. The beds are great, clean and I leave looking more tan every time. Staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the beds, lotions and can answer general tanning questions.
I recomend going to lava if you want a dark natural looking tan and quick. The overall environment is great and the staff is very friendly. I love tanning at lava.

I just started tanning at Lava Suntan Studios and I absolutely love it. The staff are very knowledgeable on both there tanning bed options and on there tanning products. After about 20 minutes of speaking with me we were able to come up with a bed and product that would best suit me. Not only has the extra Vitamin D given me more energy but I have gotten a really nice natural looking tan that is NOT orange!!! I won't tan anywhere else.
LAVA IS THE BEST PLACE I HAVE BEEN FOR TANNING. IT S VERY CLEAN THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY ,THERE ARE REALLY GREAT DEALS ON TANNING PACKAGES. YOU HAVE TO GO! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GO GET THE BEST TAN YOU HAVE EVER HAD. I LOVE IT SHERI
I haven't been tanning with lava for very long, i wish i would have started a long time ago, great staff, that are so friendly and helpful! If you go to lava you don't get that orange affect you do at some tanning salons! Would highly recommend it to anyone!
Dont even think about not trying lava out. .I personally garuntee that you will not be dissapointed. The beds are amazing, the atmosphere is CLEAN , the staff are incredible.. and you'll be TANNED! What is there to question!?

I have been tanning for many years and at all different places. Lava has the nicest people working their, the girls are very friendly and super accommodating. You get what you pay for, the beds are the best I have ever used. You don't have to go for the hundred tans before you see any color, just two or three and usually you see it after the first one. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks Lava
I have been tanning with Lava Suntan Studios since it has open by my place about 2 years ago and I love it! I've gone to other place's to tan in the past and felt that no matter how many times I went my color wouldn't change, after one session at Lava I totally noticed a difference and I love the fact that I don't have to spend a half an hour in the bed to achieve the tan I want. The staff is very helpful and nice the owner has actually gone out of his way to drive to another store to get me lotion that they were sold out of that I wanted! I also like how they have monthly deals :) I would recommend Lava out of any tanning studio here in the city!

Lava Suntan Studios give customers a great experience from when they walk in to when they walk out. They always have beds available when I come in so I never have to wait for a bed to be cleaned. Speaking of the beds, I don't think they get any better! I have tanned at other tanning studios and have been fairly satisfied, until I started tanning in Lava's stand up beds. Instead of laying in a bed for 20 minutes, you can get the same tan in only 10 minutes in the stand up bed. Sign up with their e-mail newsletter and you will receive tanning coupons in your e-mail that will save you big money! I would definitely recommend Lava Suntan Studios to anyone looking to try tanning.
As a customer you will be nothing but pleased with the service and equipment Lava carries. Beds range from the conventional to the cutting-edge high pressure and at this location specifically, a UV free tanning technology. I've been tanning with Lava for close to 5 years and am always pleased with the friendly and effective service they provide.
I've tried other studios and stopped when I found Lava. High end equipment and regularly upgrading.
Why would i want to waste 30 minutes every time to get a good tan? I wouldn't. At Lava, I can spend about 10 minutes each time getting a better tan than i can at Fabuntan that would take me 30 minutes. The difference is that they have better quality equipment that gives you the results you want fast. They also offer choices of beds that are of different leves and prices. They meet everyone's needs. The staff are friendly and always ready to answer questions. They have multiple locations that convene to everyone. It's super close to where I live, and always easy to make an appointment or just walk in for a quick tan! FABULOUS!
I would recommend the Lava Sun Tan Studio to anyone wanting to have great service and receive fast results by their tanning beds. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The facility is clean and the tanning beds allow you to get a great tan!
I've been using the services at Lava Sun Studios for nearly 3 years now, and I have only good things to say. The tanning beds in lava are second to none. No where in Winnipeg can you find such high grade tanning beds. After only one tan at Lava I can tell that I'm tan, while at other salons that I've used it's taken nearly 4 sessions to see any difference! The salon is always clean! Not only are the beds wiped down after each use, but the sides of the bed, the mirror, the pillow, the stool, everything! I know that everything is sanitized when I go in for my tan and that is comforting. The atmosphere is amazing! I love the leather couches and the neat plants and decor. It makes the duration there really enjoyable! Although tanning at Lava can be expensive, the quality of the tan and Lava experience is absolutely worth the price. You may not be paying $19 a month but hey, you're even and brown (not orange - ha ha!). The staff is always very friendly and makes the trip there worth while.
I have been a member at this location for a couple of years, and each and every time I receive great service. The attendents are very friendly, helpful and always inform me about any promotions, etc. The facility is always neat, clean and tidy. A job well done!!
