Horrible customer service relations. Bought a used GTI and I know imperfections are common but was the detailing service disappointing. I asked for stone chips to be fixed as best as they could. Came back FOUR days later finding glue residue on my hood looking as if the hood had chicken pox, as if they didn't do a final look over the car. Came back a second time to get tint removed and what happens, their detailer forgot to remove residue glue from the roof of the car. Bad experience.

Incorrect service assessment

-NOT worth the $100+ per hour to have service -Incorrectly assessment on my transmission, they said it needs to be replaced (even though it only had 160000kms). I brought it to another shop in Steinbach and am back on the road with the same transmission. Their mistake cost me approximately $360 I recommend brining your vw to another dealer. (especially for transmissions and electrical)

Bad Experience all around

I scheduled a safety on a vehicle I had purchased and had inspected in AB only days prior. When the safety was done the mechanic found that the light on my spoiler was out. This can happen, lights go out. When he was asked about WHY the light was out he informed me that it wasn't grounded properly and that it would have NEVER worked.... this was not possible. This light did work days prior and had worked for years before. Must have been magic... or maybe this particular mechanic simply didn't know what he was talking about. When I dropped off my car I was asked to bring in my temporary permit. The girl at the counter told me that she would put it back in the car for me, which was nice.... if she had done it. She simply neglected to put it back. Also, the paper work was not filled out properly for the safety (The woman who wrote it up didn't write in the mecanic number). The entire experience with Auto Haus was extremely frusterating to say the least... needless to say I will not be returning!

Dear Melanie123, I received your review and wanted to reach out as fast as possible. The experience described doesn’t meet our standards and we apologize for that. Please note all of our service mechanics are very knowledgeable and have a great deal of experience. If you were advised that your lights were installed incorrectly and didn’t work previously, I can confidently say that you were provided with accurate information. If for any reason you felt that you were misled, you can always confirm with another service centre. With regard to your temporary permit, I apologize that it was not placed back into your car. Although it was a mistake, I fully understand how such a mistake can be very frustrating. I assure you that we care greatly for our customer satisfaction and the experience described is not in line with the service we take pride in offering. If you’d like to further discuss your experience, please contact me at 204-284-7520. Sincerely, Tom Fones Service Manager
