Terrible service who cancel at the last minute. Rude service from Brandon who refused to honor our reservation from 4 months ago. Left us in a complete lurch with no offer to help. Avoid at all costs.

Please do the entire city and greater Vancouver area a favour and shut this company down. When your drivers actually bother to show up when you call for a cab, they are the most rude, aggressive people. Whether they scream at you before youve even gotten in the cab, or they ignore you when you ask to be dropped off, drive in circles for 20 minutes just to rack up the fare... the issues with this company are endless. Dont waste your time.
Unproffesional not reliable. Took longer route than needed . Not interested in waiting for me at a stop for a minute. Friend left bag in back of cab in the trunk . Driver didnt remember bag in back. He had issues giving receipt. Do not suggest this company. Poor service.
Worst taxi company I have ever encountered. Left my phone in taxi 75 by accident but noticed as soon as I left the cab that I had forgotten it. I immediately called dispatch where they told me the cab was on his was back to the lot and would be searched by the driver. When I next called backed, the driver apparently was not told about the phone and “did not do a thorough search”. He was the only person to have seen the phone until next check. The manager has not returned by cal in 6+ days now.
I called this Cab company to book a ride to the ferry terminal from UBC. After hearing nothing and the cab not showing for 30 minutes I called back and asked if it was close by. The response was “uhhhh no we still dont have anyone near by so it’ll still be a while”. It would have been nice to SAY that they weren’t sending anyone so I could have booked somewhere else instead. Terrible customer service. It was 3 pm on a sunny Thursday so no excuse in my mind. Would not recommend.
We took a cab from the airport and told the driver to take us to the Weston Airport hotel. The drive seemed longer than what we had googled and when we questioned the driver he was brass, rude and arrogant . We questioned why it was taking long to get to a hotel that was suppose to be 10 mins away. Yes we were dropped at the wrong Westin. We had to take another cab to the right hotel. Terrible rude service.
We've never ordered a MacLure's cab but one of their drivers came into our home on May 23, 2016 and refused to leave. MacLure's Company Manager, Cheryl, ignored our calls and emails and one of the dispatchers we spoke with said "You filed a report with the police. What do you expect us to do about it now?" It appears they believe that if they ignore us, it'll be like the incident never happened. Unfortunately it did and it shows them in a bad light when they won't take accountability.
This company no longer deserves a good reputation - DO NOT SUPPORT THEM. I got in a cab (#27) that had a sign on the window saying it was a non-smoking cab. After less than a minute I complained about the smell of smoke (I am allergic). The driver said no one was smoking in the cab. After a bit of back and forth the driver said "you are probably smelling the smoke on me". I was extremely nauseous and dry heaving the whole way (1/2 hour ride). It was also a very cold evening and being tired I felt very cold. I had to ride with all the windows open to help the smell so was freezing. If I wasn't so tired I would have gotten out and really should have. I tried calling the manager, Cheryl, and left several messages. In frustration the next messages were "hand delivered to the manager. Still no call back. Today I asked to stay on hold while they get her on the phone. It has been 14 days before I spoke with her and I only got her on the phone despite 4+ messages because I refused to hang up. Her tone on the phone made feel as though I was bothering her and she did not care. She said she would talk to the driver but she said she knew the driver didn't smoke (driver said he did). I never got an apology or offer of compensation. After 4+ messages and 14 days I will not use them any more. If a company disappoints it is forgivable if they respond appropriately. Not returning multiple messages about complaints tells me they don't care and I should give my business to another company. I use cabs a lot and will no longer be calling MaClures because they don't care.
