Ronnie and his wife Dee originally from South Africa , living in Malawi for 20 years were looking to move to a country with more opportunities. Ronnie had previously worked as an accountant in Malawi and Dee was a sports teacher. Although Malawi is a very poor country it's residents are so happy and that is why it is called the warm heart of Africa. They started Expedia cruises in 2009 in Nanaimo and soon also opened Parksville and Duncan. Due to the pandemic and the resultant lack of revenue from travel Pitchers Pantry was born.. Cooking was always part of Ronnie and Dee's DNA and with the help of Dee's sister Lorraine they chose to help the community with home cooked meals which save shopping and cooking time for busy people and those that prefer to stay home or are tired of their own cooking.
