Love the auction. Never had an issue with any of the items I have bought but I always go o the preview the day before. I like the convince of bidding online. Staff is always helpful and friendly.
We bought 3 upright freezers yesterday. Booked an appointment to pick them up. I was directed by staff the 3 freezers to take. Then handed my receipt after I loaded the freezers. Just received a call, just before closing I need to say. Saying outright “you took the wrong one” and demanding that we return it immediately we stated that the staff pointed out which three to take Very disappointed in the woman’s tone, attitude and lack of customer service, as well as any personality.
Very rude ladies at the front desk and on phone! Someone needs to give them a reality check....customers are what make your business happen!?
I have no problem with the items purchased, but the rudeness and lack of customer respect from the front line ladies gets them zero stars. It’s not all about the money! Cause without customers you won’t have any!
Just was at the MR auction tonight. Bought a coupe pf items there and then went home for dinner and bought something on line. Went back later, paid for them and took them away. They did a great job all around.
Some new items, some used items. Some directive items(marker accordingly). Fun auction.
I was really unhappy with this auction because I had online bidding and I did not want to stay there and wait till my items came up I am sure I bid on them and won the bid when I went to get my stuff that I got the lady at the front said that that I had nothing there and I told her that I was bidding online so I went back home which I was 5 hours away and I got a call on Monday saying that I bought some stuff but when I was there they told me I got nothing so I talked to them and they did not re
Don't waste YOUR VALUABLE TIME
As a regular auction attendee around the lower mainland, able auctions is far the worst company. They drag on items to get the most out of ppl, have very rude employees when u make a mistake online bidding,they group items so much to make the auction go faster,it's very confusing. Many glitches have also occurred and I've been in many ways forced to buy times due to the delay online that I had no interest in purchasing.Also sell items to there employees very fast so nobody has a chance to bid.
If you feel that it's right to let prices skyrocket to 3 or 4 times new retail for used products then by all means attend their auctions. Bidding up items to this level leaves few repeat buyers. I have spoke with many regulars on the auction circuit regarding this also. Good for sellers however it doesn't bring repeat buyers. If you feel I'm being biased or unfair by all means attend one of their auctions armed with the retail prices new/used, and make sure to include your 15% buyers premium and HST. I rountinely spend 4 figures monthly on the circuit but not at able auctions.
