It is a provision of our Bylaws that we are to provide playing opportunities for recreational players (non- carded) prior to forming carded teams. While our Bylaws require us to give priority to the needs of the recreational player, it is also a policy of our Board to not hold back the development of our driven, skilled and competitive players and allow them the developmental opportunities of playing at the highest level possible on carded teams.Under BC Hockey rules there are only two types of teams: recreational and carded.Carded teams have strict roster rules and are eligible for Provincial Championships. There are 4 Tiers of Carded teams. Tiering is based on the number of players registered with an Association.
